Other Important Details
Occasionally, unexpected issues such as power outages or heating problems may arise in one of our buildings, making it necessary to dismiss students early. There are also times when weather conditions worsen during the school day, and we may need to cancel afternoon and evening activities — including clubs, sports, and events — to ensure everyone gets home safely. Please know that these decisions are never made lightly; they involve close monitoring of conditions and consultation with local safety officials. As your Superintendent, the safety and well-being of our students and staff are always my top priorities. That said, I also recognize that every family’s situation is unique, and I fully trust you to make the choice that feels right for your student. If school remains open but travel conditions are unsafe where you are, please use your best judgment.
