| | | | | | Spring Break is coming!
Please remember there will be no school starting next Friday, April 17th through Friday April 24th. During this time the MCHPP Coffin Pantry is not open. However you are able to visit other sites for supplies.
We'll see you all back on Monday, April 27th for the remaining 41 days of school! | | | As we approach Earth Day, we want to bring awareness to how vapes hurt the planet. Besides hurting you, they are a waste problem, harmful to animals and pollute the water and air. If you choose to use, please dispose of your vapes in a local drop box to help protect the environment. | | | | Brunswick Community Education Foundation is excited to announce that it has awarded over $41,000 to support teacher-led projects throughout the Brunswick School District and Region 10. We received a record-breaking number of applications this year, reflecting the remarkable dedication of the Brunswick teaching community. And from cooking with preschoolers to college and career tours at Region 10, these projects will touch the lives of Brunswick students in all phases of their educational journey. Take a look at all of the wonderful projects BCEF is helping to make happen. https://www.brunswickcef.org/past-grants
While BCEF strives to fund as many projects as it can, funding constraints prevent us from funding many wonderful teacher-led projects. If you would like to donate towards next year's grant cycle and help us say "yes" to more creative ideas in the classroom, please consider contributing online at https://www.brunswickcef.org/donate. | | | The Brunswick Landing YMCA is beginning to offer Teen Time for BHS and BJH students after school and they will be offering free transportation over to the Landing after school. | | | | Beyond the Likes - Social Media, Mental Health & You
The American Academy of Pediatrics Center of Excellence on Social Media and Youth Mental Health invites teens (ages 14-19) to participate in Beyond the Likes - Social Media, Mental Health & You, a free virtual youth forum on Saturday, April 18, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm ET.
This interactive event will empower young people to navigate the digital world with confidence, engage in meaningful conversations with peers and experts, and gain practical tools for managing their digital lives. Earn a Certificate of Completion and get a chance to win prizes!
Clubs and organizations whose members participate in the forum may be eligible for a small stipend; interested groups can contact Marija Hegel at mhegel@aap.org for more information.
