| | | | | | On Monday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m., the Town Council will meet at Town Hall and provide the School Board with a budget target number.
The School Board will then meet on Thursday, May 7, at 6:30 p.m., at Town Hall to deliberate on the budget target recommended by the Town Council, as well as discuss how to use the $123,000 in additional bridge funding we received from the Department of Education. I am recommending to the School Board that these funds be used to reduce the tax impact. The School Board will make this decision on May 7.
Following that meeting, the Town Council will reconvene again on Monday, May 11, for a final vote before the budget proceeds to a referendum in June.

Tell us about one of your most memorable moments while working in Brunswick. During the only school evacuation drill, I and another teacher and quite a few students huddled in a corner waiting and waiting and waiting to be evacuated to the junior high.
