Positive COVID-19 case at Kate Furbish School

Dear Staff, Students, and Families:

This letter is to inform you that a member of the Kate Furbish Elementary School community has tested positive for COVID-19. School officials have contacted the Maine DOE/CDC, and those impacted have been contacted.

It should be noted that with every positive COVID-19 case, the district works directly with Maine DOE/CDC to determine the infectious period and contact tracing requirements, based on the impacted individual’s last day of attendance at school before developing symptoms or testing positive.
