Dear Brunswick Staff and Parents:
We received word from RSU 5 this afternoon that their student, Theo Ferrara, was found deceased.
Although Theo was not a member of the Brunswick Schools community, a student death is a difficult situation that can generate challenging emotions for students. How we, as adults, manage ourselves serves as an important model for helping students handle tragedies like this. Should you observe or hear from students who are struggling with this passing, please direct them to the school counseling office or to one of our school social workers.
We always hold our BSD community close, but are reminded of how much we need one another even more at times like this. Our thoughts and condolences are with the RSU 5 community and the Ferrara family.
