Tomorrow is an Early Release Day!  Dismissal starts at 11:30!  No school on Friday, October 6 or Monday, October 9!

Reminder to 7th & 8th grade band students interested in auditioning for district 3: there will be an audition prep session Wednesday morning at 7:15 in the band room. Intent to Audition forms are due next Thursday- Oct. 12

Whose Crime is It Anyway will NOT start today - first meeting is October 10!

Pie Sale is On!  Your student should have brought home an envelope with the order form in side.  The pie sale dates are October 2 through Friday October 13.  All orders need to be returned to the school by Friday, October 13.  A few details:

  • Please be sure the order form is complete with the student's name, grade, advisor and phone number. 
  • Payment is due at the time of ordering -- Checks should be made out to BJHS.
  • Pie pick up date is Wednesday, November 15 from 5 to 6. All sellers will be required to pick up their pie order on that date.
  • If you are not able to sell pies, but want to help out with the fundraiser -- you can make a donation!  Checks can be made payable to BJH.
  • The top two sellers in the school will each receive a $30 gift card.
  • Each grade will have a separate drawing for $30 gift card.  Everyone who sold at least one pie will be entered into the drawing!

Registration for Basketball and Cheering will open on October 30 on Powerschool. If your child will be participating in a winter sport, please be sure to register them. If they had a physical uploaded for a fall sport and is current in the last 2 years, you do not need to upload another one. If your child has not participated in a fall sport, please upload a copy of their latest physical and/or a doctor's note stating they are cleared to play a sport.

PLL FAST TRACK PORTLAND

This event is a multi-session lacrosse experience, known as Fast Track, for coaches and players including live game-play. Fast Track is a new initiative where PLL Academy will host multiple events in Portland throughout the year - this will be our kickoff event in Maine to spread awareness about lacrosse, provide great training and create a truly unique experience for players, coaches & families.

Whether you're looking to learn about lacrosse or have been playing for years, this event is for you as we will have multiple PLL pros running the trainings, along with merch giveaways & items for sale, as we look to help grow the game of lacrosse in Maine.

LATE BUS INFORMATION:  The Late Bus Service will start on September 18.  It will leave the Junior High at 4:10 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  If you will be taking the late bus or sports, clubs, or after school help with a teacher, you MUST get a blue bus pass from the Main Office.  Please come to the Main office in the morning before lunch if you are going to be riding the late bus!  Thank you!
