REMINDER:  Water only is allowed during school hours!  This includes lunch period!  No energy drinks, coffee, soda, etc.

The ACDA festival scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to weather.

6th, 7th, and 8th grade band tutorials are cancelled

Congratulations to the BJHS Wind Ensemble for their outstanding performance at the Maine Band Directors Association festival. The group received straight “superiors” from the judges, meaning they exceeded the musical standard. Way to represent our school in such a fantastic way. Gooooo Dragon Music!

• shoppers will earn 3 School Dollars for every 4 participating products purchased.

• At checkout, customers will receive a School Dollar printout they can redeem online to donate to any school in this program.

Maine Student Book Award voting is happening now! If you have not yet voted for your favorite MSBA book this year, please see Ms. Damone or Mr. Comeau in the Library for information on how to vote and to be entered into our MSBA drawing. The last day to cast your vote is Monday, March 31st.

Here’s a community service opportunity for 8th graders:

• Need Student Volunteers (self-select via link below) to help with carnival activities at the Brunswick Community Education Foundation Spring Carnival

• May 23rd, from 4p-6p, at the Kate Furbish Elementary School

• This will be their third year hosting this successful community event.

• Brunswick residents enjoy this family-friendly event featuring carnival games, treats and a robust raffle.

• Because of the high attendance in the past, BCEF is working on adding more games, food trucks, and live music.

• BCEF hopes you will help with this wonderful event!

Unified Basketball vs Staff, 2:45!

BJHS Sport Season starts Monday, March 31st 
(with the exception of 7/8th Girls LAX-  Practice starts Monday, April 7th. )

Monday, March 31 -- practices will continue in the gym with this schedule until the field’s are ready. Coaches will let you know when practice times/locations will change.

• 7/8 Boys LAX- Practice 4-5 (BJHS Gym)

• 7/8 Softball- Practice 5-6:15 (BJHS Gym)

• 7th Baseball- Practice 6:15-7:15 (BJHS Gym)

• 8th Baseball- Practice 7:15-8:30 (BJHS Gym)

Once practices are outside the schedule will be as follows (coaches will communicate when this starts).
