Hey Dragons! If you’re into writing stories, poems, or just want a chill space to be creative, join the Creative Writing Club! We’re meeting on Mondays after school in the BJH Library from 2:45 to 4:00, starting October 6th. Everyone’s welcome - it's all about good vibes and creativity. Come hang out and write with us! Disc Golf Club meets again this afternoon. Last week's unofficial course record was set by Oliver Downy, shooting a negative-three. New members can still join, please see Mr. Mac.

6th Graders: For all students who applied to join our Lunch, Laugh, and Read Book Club and received a welcome letter and Library pass from your advisor, our first meeting will be this Wednesday, September 24, during lunch and motobreak. Be sure to grab your lunch at the start of period 4 and head to the Library to Lunch, Laugh, and Read.

Together, we’ll work on fun projects—like creating positive bulletin boards, leading school-wide activities, and sharing ways to support friends and classmates. Everyone has unique strengths—and we want yours! Sources of Strength will meet Mondays after school until 4 starting September 22. Interested in joining? Come to the guidance office and see Mrs. Roy or Mrs. Weeks.  Let’s make this year stronger together!

🚍 Late Bus has started!!
The Late Bus runs on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and leaves BJHS at 4:10 p.m.

  • Sign up for a Late Bus Pass in the front office by lunchtime.

  • Pick up your blue bus pass from the front office at the end of the day.

  • Meet by the Gym Doors to get on the bus.

  • Remember: Late Bus stops are different from your regular stop—check yours ahead of time.

Here's an important announcement from the Art Department. The 5th annual After School Art Fair will be held next Wednesday, September 24th, from the walker bell until 3:45. A variety of exciting art workshops will be offered by students from the Maine College of Art for FREE! This event is open to all BJHS students, but you must sign up ahead of time. Spaces in the workshops are limited, and are first come, first served. Check your email for the link to sign up and see Ms. Bucknam for more details. See you at the Art Fair!
