Book Fair

Brunswick Junior High School is proud of its summer readers! Last month, students who read at least two books over the summer were treated to an ice cream sundae celebration! Each participant chose their own books, and many went well beyond the two-book goal, filling their vacation days with adventure, mystery, humor, and everything in between. Furthermore, BJHS reached their 1,000 book goal by reading a total of 1,089 books! We are thrilled by their enthusiasm and thank every student who took part.

This celebration would not have been possible without the generosity of Luke Washburn, owner of Fielder's Choice Ice Cream, who kindly donated all of the ice cream. Thank you, Mr. Washburn, for supporting our students and making this sweet reward possible. There is something special about holding a book in your hands, turning the pages, and stepping away from phones and laptops for a while. Reading for the simple pleasure of it is a gift that stays with students long after summer ends, and we hope our readers keep turning pages all year long.

If you are interested in helping with morning announcements, please come to the Main Office after checking in with your advisor to see Elise Roy and Jameson Bray to get more information and sign up!
