June is Pride month around the nation, celebrating and honoring the accomplishments of the LGBTQIAP+ community. Pride is a time to reflect on how far we have come to accept each other as we are, as well as to plan for the future ways to make our towns and schools a safer and more welcoming place for everyone.
Here in Brunswick we will be participating in this town's first-ever Pride gathering!

On Saturday, the Wind Ensemble and the Advanced Choir traveled to Methuen, Mass. where they participated in the Great East Festival. Both the Wind Ensemble and the Advanced Choir performed at a very high level of musicianship with each ensemble earning a Platinum rating. We are very proud of their musicians and their commitment to excellence. Congratulations everyone!
