MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Congratulations to our BJHS Math Teams!

In 6th grade our team placed 13th.  They were one of the highest scoring teams in the arithmetic section.  Lucy Russell had a whopping 20 points in that section on her own!  Impressive.  Great contributions also came from Nick Johnson, Sully Collins, Will Boutwell,, Michaela Davis, and Kay Lloyd.

Believe it or not, our 7th grade team came in first place!  Individual high scores were Jacob Fallis coming in third place with 33 points and Sean Funderburk close behind in fifth place with 31 points.  This competition was a whole team effort which also included Ryan Livesay, Lauren Livesay, Kayla Chen, and Jack Doyle.

Last but not least, our 8th grade team placed 8th this time around.  The team did a fantastic job on Geometry, scoring 40 points!  It was truly a joint effort between Zunairah Khan, Alden Haynes, Ian Wiley, and Eddie Tuite!

Just a reminder, it’s never too late to join!  Stop by and check out a practice session.  Ask your math teacher for details.
