Brunswick School Department is happy to announce that the FCC is launching the Emergency Broadband Benefit program today.  This is a temporary FCC program to help households struggling to afford internet service during the pandemic.

The Emergency Broadband Benefit program provides a discount of $50/month to eligible households for broadband access ($75/ month if the household lives on Tribal lands). Cost is one of the barriers for accessing broadband for work and learning that families across the country have identified.

Eligible households are able to enroll in the program to receive a monthly discount off the cost of broadband service from an approved provider. Eligible households can enroll through an approved provider or by visiting GetEmergencyBroadband.org
