  • Come join the BHS delegation to the Maine Youth and Government program! A three-day model legislature in the REAL Maine State House, you'll get to meet students from across Maine, debate issues facing our state, and have a blast with your friends!   • Join the BHS Cooking Competition! September 19, 2:15 to 3:45 in rm. 123. This competition is open to students, staff and faculty. Find some friends and create your own cooking team. Five teams will compete for best Mexican Cuisine. There will be guest judges and prizes for the winning team! Sign up today with Mrs. Selberg!

  • Sign up now to attend  β€œCook Around the World”,  April 26-29 in Disney World!  Mrs. Selberg can take a team of 10 students to compete against schools from all over the United States.  The weekend includes a cooking competition, 3 days in Disney World, 3 nights at a Disney world resort, behind the scenes tours, a class at the Disney Imagination campus, meeting famous chefs, and learning about culinary arts colleges.   • Attention Students--Are you interested in being matched with a Bowdoin College student? BHS students will meet their mentor at BHS right after school once a week for approximately an hour. Ask Mrs. Ring in the counseling office for more information.  Students enrolled will receive community service hours needed for graduation.

  • The Brunswick High School late bus service will begin on Monday, September 18. The bus will depart B.H.S. promptly at 3:45 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday when school is in session. To ride the late bus, students will need to secure a blue late bus pass from their teacher or the main office. For any questions regarding the late bus, please contact the Transportation Department at 319-1904.

  • Brunswick 0-2 Yarmouth Scorers & Assists: Goals from Ali Miler and Sonja Bell gave Yarmouth the win at Brunswick on Saturday in the searing heat. Shots: Brunswick 9 Yarmouth 12 Saves: Brunswick 10 (Julianna Morin) Yarmouth 9 (Regan Sullivan)

  • BHS Girls' JV Soccer Result Yarmouth JV 2 BHS JV 0 Shots: Yarmouth 18 BHS 5 BHS Scoring: None Goalies: Juliana Morin 13 saves 1 goal allowed Chloe Flynn 4 shots 1 goal allowed

  • JV Brunswick field hockey tied Freeport 1 to 1. #1 K Bourgoin scored early in the first quarter. In the 3rd quarter Quinn McCormack got a break away down the field and assisted a goal for Abby Smith.

  • On Friday the cross country team traveled to Belfast for a 7 team meet. Both girls and boys teams placed first overall. Maeve Woodruff led all runners and placed 1st overall and Ellie Gilman placed 2nd. Rounding out the scoring were Lei Lei Casey, Molly Bennett, Avery Peterson, Nadine Albaugh, and Hazel Goodwin. The boys were led by Ben Kringle who took 1st place overall. The boys placed 7 scoring runners in the top 12 in oppressive heat to early out distance the other competing teams. Finishing in top positions were Ryan McPherson, Marshall Wall, Sam Cashman, Jonathan Koehler, Gabe Eaton and Trevor Campbell.
