  • Bus 16 is back to being Bus 16 today

  • Welcome to the first full month of the school year! Every month in the guidance office we have colleges from all over the country coming to BHS for college visits. This is the perfect time to start exploring colleges you or your student is interested in and ask questions. Please look at the attachment for a calendar with dates and times for each school visiting. A monthly update will go out in the google classrooms and via ReachMyTeach. The visits are scheduled for one hour with the college representative and will take place in the guidance office. Please email me at kshackley@brunswicksd.org if you want to meet with the rep!

  • Come join the BHS delegation to the Maine Youth and Government program! A three-day model legislature in the REAL Maine State House, you'll get to meet students from across Maine, debate issues facing our state, and have a blast with your friends! If you're interested, join the Google Classroom with this code: 5itny5m

  • Join the BHS Cooking Competition! September 19, 2:15 to 3:45 in rm. 123. This competition is open to students, staff and faculty. Find some friends and create your own cooking team. Five teams will compete for best Mexican Cuisine. There will be guest judges and prizes for the winning team! Sign up today with Mrs. Selberg!

  • Sign up now to attend  β€œCook Around the World”,  April 26-29 in Disney World!  Mrs. Selberg can take a team of 10 students to compete against schools from all over the United States.  The weekend includes a cooking competition, 3 days in Disney World, 3 nights at a Disney world resort, behind the scenes tours, a class at the Disney Imagination campus, meeting famous chefs, and learning about culinary arts colleges.   • Attention Students--Are you interested in being matched with a Bowdoin College student? BHS students will meet their mentor at BHS right after school once a week for approximately an hour. Ask Mrs. Ring in the counseling office for more information.  Students enrolled will receive community service hours needed for graduation.

  • The Brunswick High School late bus service will begin on Monday, September 18. The bus will depart B.H.S. promptly at 3:45 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday when school is in session. To ride the late bus, students will need to secure a blue late bus pass from their teacher or the main office. For any questions regarding the late bus, please contact the Transportation Department at 319-1904.

Saves: Juliana Morin 5, 1 goal allowed Scoring: Goals: Lacey Dinsmore (2), Ellie Musica, Cece Smith, Madison Neault Assists: Ellie Musica (2), Riley Hall, Lacey Dinsmore, Maeve McDonald The BHS Girls' First Team played a great game against Messalonskee yesterday at Gardiner Field in Brunswick. Lacey Dinsmore led the offensive attack with 2 goals and an assist.  Ellie Musica controlled the midfield throughout the game and contributed a goal and 2 assists.  May Wikwire, Sammy Vercoe, Addie Wight and Sara Saaveda Estrada played excellent defense throughout the game.

  • Brunswick Varsity Field Hockey traveled north to Hampden Academy on Monday night to beat the Broncos 6-0. Brunswick got on the board quickly with a Kiki Dinsmore goal from an Ava Wolverton assist. Wolverton assisted again to a Marissa Zavitz score. Dinsmore and Wolverton both finished with 2 goals on the day, followed by goals from Quinn McCormack and Marissa Zavitz. Wolverton had two assists, and Abby Smith had one assist in the win. Brunswick kept Hamden off the scoreboard with a strong defensive wall of Maddy Duchette, Ruby Hill, Hailie Morton and goalie Ella Duchette who had 8 saves.
