Are you interested in a career in construction? Did you know you can get up to 10 community service hours through career exploration? Join us for the Construction Careers Day event at Midcoast Excavation in Bath. You can meet future employers and try out equipment! If you are interested, stop by room 203 to sign up and get a field trip form.
Welcome to the first full month of the school year! Every month in the guidance office we have colleges from all over the country coming to BHS for college visits. This is the perfect time to start exploring colleges you or your student is interested in and ask questions. Please look at the picture for a calendar with dates and times for each school visiting. A monthly update will go out in the google classrooms and via ReachMyTeach. The visits are scheduled for one hour with the college representative and will take place in the guidance office. The Brunswick High School late bus service will begin on Monday, September 18. The bus will depart B.H.S. promptly at 3:45 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday when school is in session. To ride the late bus, students will need to secure a blue late bus pass from their teacher or the main office. For any questions regarding the late bus, please contact the Transportation Department at 319-1904.

The Varsity Golf Team continued its unbeaten record with a couple of tri-match wins over conference rivals Edward Little and Oxford Hills Monday afternoon in the pouring rain at Norwat Country Club. The Dragons bested Edward Little 8-1 in total points and 157-178 in team medal play. They also topped Oxford Hills 9-0 in points and 157-174 in team medal play. The Dragons were led by individual low medalist Will Farschon with a score of 37. Dragons are now 8-0 on the season and will travel to Messalonskee on Wednesday afternoon.

Tessa Castrucci scored Hampden Academy's goals, unassisted. Shots: Brunswick 21 Hampden Academy 5 Saves: Brunswick 4 (Juliana Morin) Hampden Academy 9 (Zoe Higgins)
BHS JV 0 Hampden Academy 1 Shots: 16. Hampden 8 Saves: Juliana Morin 5 Lacey Dinsmore 2 Scoring: None The Brunswick JV Girls' soccer team lost a tough game to Hampden Academy Tuesday 1-0. The girls dominated play outshooting Hampden throughout the game but never could find the net on many good chances. That came back to haunt the girls as Hampden scored a late goal for the win.
