GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
Picture Retake Day will occur on Tuesday, November 14th in Crooker Theater between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. If you would like to have your picture retaken or if you missed picture day, please add your name to the sign up sheet in the Main Office so that we may issue you a pass to have your picture re/taken. Additionally, November 14th is a black day. If you attend OCLC or Region 10 and would like to have your picture taken, it is important that you sign up with the Main Office so we may plan accordingly.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALL BUS REQUESTS MUST BE APPROVED THROUGH THE BUS GARAGE BEFORE YOU CAN OBTAIN A PASS FROM THE MAIN OFFICE. BUSSES ARE AT FULL CAPACITY AND THE BUS GARAGE STAFF ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO MAY APPROVE ANY TRANSPORTATION REQUESTS. PLEASE CONTACT 319-1904 FOR ALL BUS RELATED REQUESTS.
Everyone loves a survey! The Maine CDC is requesting information regarding the next youth vaping campaign.
What: We are looking for youth input to help inform the next youth vaping campaign.
How: Survey available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r... The survey should only take 10 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous!
Who: 12–17 year-olds in Maine.
By When: Please have all responses submitted by Friday, 11/3
Opportunity to Attend Hog Island Audubon Teen Camp 2024
Merrymeeting Audubon is offering scholarships to attend teen (ages 14-17 in June 2024) camps this coming summer. This program is located at the Hog Island Audubon Camp, Bremen, ME. The scholarship will cover the full camp tuition of $1,690. If selected, the student is responsible for submitting the Hog Island registration forms.

The camper will be selected on the basis of a student essay and a teacher’s recommendation. The student should explain why they are interested in birds and what they hope to learn. Brunswick Boys Basketball Preseason Meeting
What: Boys Basketball Pre-Season Meeting
When: Thursday 11/02 Directly after school
Where: Multi-Purpose Room
Who: Anyone interested in trying out for the Boys Basketball Team this season!
There will be "Open Gym" on Nov 2, 7, 9, 14 and 16, 5-7 pm for any interested Brunswick High School students. Come and play!

October College Rep Visits
Every month in the guidance office we have colleges from all over the country coming to BHS for college visits. This is the perfect time to start exploring colleges you or your student is interested in and ask questions. Please look at the picture for a calendar with dates and times for each school visiting. A monthly update will go out in the google classrooms and via ReachMyTeach. The visits are scheduled for one hour with the college representative and will take place in the guidance office.
