CLUB MEETINGSATHLETICS NEWS
BHS Nordic Achievements! The BHS Nordic Ski Team did amazing in the KVAC championships! The boys got 3rd place overall for the combined pursuit results for KVACs. This is the highest place finish for BHS to date - this team is relatively new and finally has the depth to make this happen! Scoring were: Jonathan Koehler (with a really standout 5th place finish on Saturday), Wyeth Mackey, Sam Cashman, and Daire Woodruff.
Maeve Woodruff is the only girl on the team this year, and she scored 3rd place overall in the whole division.
After the races Saturday, there was a sudden thunderstorm, complete with torrential rain, hail, and lightning (in February!!!!)
If you have these kids in class, please congratulate them because I have never seen them so proud of themselves! States are coming right up next week.

Boys Lacrosse Meeting! There will be a meeting for returning players and any one interested in playing lacrosse this spring, February 27th at 2:30 in the multi purpose room.
It is time to register for Spring Sports! To do this, your parent must log into PowerSchool with their Parent credentials, click "General" and then "Forms".
The spring season dates include dates over April vacation and may extend into the summer vacation. If you have questions about the season for a particular sport, feel free to contact the athletic office at any time.
Please note the registration deadline for your sport below. Early registration is appreciated, as knowing how many students will participate best allows us to plan for our programs.
Softball and baseball pitchers and catchers need to complete registration by Friday, March 15 to participate in Pitching/Catching training beginning on Monday, March 18.
All other participants for all sports need to complete registration prior to Friday, March 22 to avoid any delays to participation on Monday, March 25.
CLASS NOTES
Seriously, though! Seniors! ORDER YOUR CAPS AND GOWNS! February is flying by! Cap, gown and tassel payment deadline is MARCH 1st! The cost is $28. If you have a student that only needs their 2024 tassel, the cost is $12.
Please note, tassel payment can only be accepted in cash or check.
