We are currently looking for students to support our after-school programs at school sites in Bath (Fisher Mitchell) and Brunswick (Kate Furbish). This opportunity is a great fit for high school students who enjoy working with children, spending time outdoors, getting creative, and building experience in education, recreation, or youth development.
Position Details:
Monday–Friday, 2:45/3:00–5:30 PM
Additional hours are available during school vacations and school days off
Great hands-on experience working with children in a fun, supportive environment
Registration is now open for the 2026-2027 Academic Session of Inside Medicine, a free virtual career exploration program for Maine high school students (Classes of 2027-2030). Hosted by MaineHealth and Tufts University medical students, the program gives high schoolers the opportunity to explore careers in medicine, connect with health care professionals, and participate in interactive medical mystery cases.
Program Details:
Virtual sessions: First Wednesdays, October 2026-February 2027
Time: 7:00- 8:15pm

Registration closes September 30 or when capacity is reached. Students under 18 will complete a parent/guardian consent form through DocuSign during the registration process. More details can be found on our website linked above.

Camp Sunshine is hopeful BHS (& possibly other schools in our district) could carve/decorate pumpkins for their annual Pumpkin Festival Fundraiser at L.L.Beans for Oct 16-18th!
