Dear Brunswick School Community:
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic we have been committed to clearly and transparently communicating with students, staff, and families. We have also been committed to revising our practices to effectively respond to the ever-evolving characteristics of the pandemic and the needs of the community.
With these commitments in mind, I would like to announce a change in how we notify members of the school community about confirmed COVID-19 cases in our schools. Effective immediately, we will no longer be sending general school and community letters when there is a positive case in a school. Instead, we will include a section of the weekly Community Newsletter summarizing the number of cases in each school during that week. Close contacts of specific cases will still be notified and cumulative numbers will still be maintained on the BSD dashboard.
We hope these changes will continue to keep you informed but in a more efficient way.
