Cristina is originally from Ohio! She attended the University of Maine and received her Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. She and her husband, Jason, have two children, Kyla and Evan. They also have a family dog named Ruby.

Employee Spotlight - Justin Stygles: 5th Grade Teacher at Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary School
Justin grew up all over the country as a military child and has attended many different universities and graduated with various degrees - Literacy Specialist from UMaine, ETEP at USM, History Bachelors from USM, and an AAS in Horse Racing from SUNY Morrisville. He has one daughter, Rhiana, who is an Airmen First Class at Joint Base Andrews (sometimes she guards Air Force One!).

What do you like to do outside of work for fun?
I'm what's called a "Racetracker." I visit horse racing tracks across the country or I visit Cathedrals, Shrines, and Basillicas.

What is something you learned in the last week?
How to sync iTunes to my phone. (Yep, and I'm not ashamed of it either. I miss CD players in cars!!)
The golf team captured its THIRD consecutive KVAC league title. The Dragons were led by Charlie Austin (38), Brayden Grant (39), & Garrett Countway (39). The Dragons play in the State Qualifier tomorrow at Natanis-Tomahawk Golf Course. GO DRAGONS!!! ๐๐๐ #teambrunswickme

This week our young scientists embarked on a thrilling adventure with toothpicks and marshmallows. They teamed up to build towering structures, testing their engineering skills and creativity.

Peri and her husband, Costas, have two children in the Brunswick Schools. Their daughter, Despina, is a sophomore at BHS, and their son, Alexander, is in 3rd grade at HBS. She grew up in Greece and attended the National University of Athens.

We are excited to announce that the @curtislibrarybrunswick Libraryโs Book Mobile will be making weekly visits to BJHS! The Book Mobile is a mobile library that travels throughout Brunswick and Harpswell to bring library services to the community. The Junior High will be offering this opportunity to our students every Thursday during our school-wide reading time (SSR). We would love to have your child participate in this opportunity. Students will come home with a permission slip that will allow your child to access the Book Mobile. In order to check out books, they will need an active library card. If they do not have one, please be sure to fill out the form that also went home (cards are free!) and return it to Curtis Memorial Library or have your child bring it with them when they visit the Book Mobile. #teambrunswickme #maine
