Midterm exams for grades 9–12 will take place January 20–23. Students only need to be on campus when they have a scheduled exam, with transportation, meals, quiet study spaces, and stress-management supports available each day.
Teachers will review exam materials and formats in advance, and exams will take place during each class’s scheduled period.

I've recently been reading about the shipwreck of The Wager and the chaos that followed in a book by David Grann.
Kick off to Colors Week at KFS! Today students were decked out in all the colors of the rainbow to get ready for Colors Week Jan 12-16th. In this engaging game, students acted out different emotions—like excitement, confusion, and fear—while classmates guessed the feelings. It was a fun way for students to explore emotions, practice empathy, and strengthen classroom connections.

We’re excited to share that telecommunications at the high school have been fully restored and we are back up and running!
After investigating the issue, it turns out the culprit was an unexpected visitor—a rodent that chewed through some cables 🐭⚡️. Repairs are complete, and everything is now functioning normally.
