Ms. Novak's third graders brought the Macy’s Day Parade to life—Ozobot style!
Students designed their own festive floats, coded colorful paths, and sent their tiny robots marching in a joyful “parade”. A fun blend of creativity, coding, and celebration! 🎈🤖🎉

I listened to several NPR Throughline podcasts on a road trip this week so... Massachusetts has the highest money spent on lottery tickets per capita in the U.S, an average of around $800 a year per adult.

At Kate Furbish elementary, we are incredibly grateful for the tremendously generous turnout from the community for our snack donations! These snacks are already providing support and nourishment, benefiting students both in the classroom and at their kitchen tables. Ms. Dugas’ 5th graders kicked off their descriptive writing unit with a fun twist! Students created an activity square about an activity they enjoy—describing it without ever naming it. Then, using a stack of everyone’s words, they chose one and coded their Bee-Bot to navigate to the matching square. Writing, guessing, and coding all in one activity!

🏆⚽️ On Tuesday, November 4th, Brunswick Boys Soccer won the North Class A Championship by defeating Camden Hills 2-1 in penalty kicks! Oliver Gorchoff scored the goal to tie the game, and Declan Theberge made multiple incredible saves in the shootout to secure the win! 🥅🔥🐉 Come support our Dragons this Saturday at 1:30pm at Messalonskee High School as they face Scarborough High School in the State Championship! 🖤🧡⚽️

The Brunswick School Bus Drivers were celebrated last week in honor of School Bus Driver Appreciation Week and School Bus Safety Awareness week! Thank you to our outstanding bus drivers for their diligence in making sure our students safety is the number one priority and for all they do throughout the year. We really are a lucky district!
